PRIVACY

Updated 23 July 2026
The short version: Baton collects nothing.

What we don't collect

Baton has no accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no advertising or tracking SDKs. Your tempos, accents, setlists and settings stay in private on-device storage and vanish on uninstall.

Network use

Baton works offline. It touches the network in exactly two situations: Google Play's billing service, when you buy or restore the one-time Pro unlock (that conversation is between your device and Google — Baton operates no server and receives nothing), and casting, if you use it.

Casting to your TV or speaker

When you cast, your phone talks to your own Chromecast device on your home network and the TV or speaker loads the click page from our website. That connection exists only while you cast, and nothing about it is logged or collected.

Permissions

Baton never shows you a permission prompt. Like any Android app with Google Play billing and Google Cast support, its manifest includes standard install-time entries (billing, internet access, network state) — none of these involve a prompt and none touch your personal data.

This website

No cookies, no analytics. An anonymous view counter counts page loads only — it stores no IP addresses and no identifiers.
